On August 18th Susan Hunter (NG negotiating committee), Jeanette Weiland (NG), and Frankie Hayes (Stanley) were joined by community leaders and elected representatives to visit the USCIS regional office in South Burlington.
Four UE Local 1008 members went to visit Senator Barbara Boxer's office in Los Angeles on Friday, August 15th to follow up on the May 5th letter she signed demanding that a fair and equitable contract be settled by the companies by August 1st.
